  • Culture information

    NYMS statement about culture

Our Cultural program cultivates a dialogue between mycology and the arts, with many of our members in both worlds. Our new cultural initiatives include a Myco Book Club, pop-up cultural excursions and film screenings, our inaugural Myco Film Festival, and exhibitions on mycological art. Our programming foregrounds diversity, aims to promote artists within our membership as well as mycological programming in partnership with local arts and culture organizations — from grass-roots groups to established institutions. If you are a mycologically-focused artist in any medium, or would like to partner with NYMS for a cultural event, please reach out to Maya
