Next Monday’s ID meeting will be online. Share anything you have found recently, or share older observations for which you haven’t gotten a species ID. Show off mushrooms from your travels, nearby or abroad. Share your ID triumphs and tribulations. We will continue having intermittent in person ID sessions throughout the summer.
Come share what you’ve found, see what others have found or to ask more general questions about anything fungi-related.

As always, we encourage you to use iNaturalist to share your observations – it’s a great way to keep track of your finds, and you will be able to participate in these NYMS projects:
If you’re not using iNaturalist, try to have images on your computer that you can share.
Either way, it’s important to document your finds with clear pictures, showing details of cap, underside and stem, and to note the habitat
