Announcing the fourth NYMS Fungus Festival!

We are excited to announce our 4th Fungus Festival!
Sunday, October 11, 2026, 11am-4pm
at The Battery (just south of State Street and Battery Place, NYC)

This year we have a beautiful flush of fungal partners, presenters, stands and arts! We are excited to celebrate the city’s mycelial network, and showcase the breadth of mycological creativity here in New York City.

We’ve got lots going on – fresh mushrooms, arts and crafts, stands, activities, talks, displays, walks, artists selling their work, stands, food and more! Find out about all the action in our official program.

This festival is free and open to all!

Please register for this free event to receive updates on Festival programming and to be informed about registration for walks and workshops!

Take a look at the full program!

Order 2026 Fungus Festival Limited Edition T-Shirts

Get your own limited edition 2026 Fungus Festival T-shirt here! The t-shirts are available in two colors (Sand & Powder Blue). The design is by club member, artist, and world traveler Anna Efanova. Order by midnight September 30th and get a 10% discount on your order. (T-shirt orders will be processed after September 30th. Pick up at Fungus Fest is available. It seems obvious, but it bears repeating: please do not select “pick up” if you are not coming to Fungus Festival.) These T-shirts subsidize the Fungus Festival and allow us to keep it free for all.

The event will be taking place on The Battery on Sunday, October 11th from 11am to 4pm. The address is State Street and Battery Place. Find a detailed page on getting to The Battery here.

We look forward to seeing you on the 11th of October! Bring mushrooms for the display table!
