Microbes The Musical by Caroline Chou
Check out the world’s first off-Broadway musical about fungi!  Microbes! The Musical , directed by Caroline Chou, is an absurdist, multimedia musical performance about bacteria and the zombie-ant fungus, their relations to the ecosystem, and the human tensions against microbes. For adults but family-friendly.

Sunday April 13 only! With 2 showings, 2PM and 5PM at:
    Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater
    10 W 64th St, New York, NY 10023
(between Broadway and Central Park West)

Caroline Chou is a first time playwright and has turned her interdisciplinary research on fungi-insect relations into a musical performance. Set during the war on microbes, a spy is sent on a mission to gather intel about bacteria, the zombie-ant fungus, and insects to help a scientist develop technologies to eliminate the supposed enemy. Come enjoy a joyful performance of singing and dancing bacteria and fungi celebrating the bounty that microbes have on the environment!
