An introduction to mycology with Paul Sadowski: What have we here?

Please join us on June 27 at 7:30 PM for this year’s introduction to mycology: “What Have we Here?” This newbie-oriented class will prepare you for the summer season that is now upon us.

And this talk will be followed by a field trip in Central Park’s North Woods on June 30 to help familiarize the newcomer with fungi in their environment. Details will be announced closer to the date.

Your guide will Paul Sadowski, longtime member of the NYMS and NYBG Instructor in seasonal mushrooms. The 1-1/2 hour talk will introduce the beginner to the biology, anatomy and ecology of fungi. He’ll introduce a few of the usual suspects that pop up in our this time of the year.
