The New York Mycological Society will be participating as an Educational Partner in the Carl Schurz Park Conservancy’s Every Day is Earth Day event on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Come say hi if you are in the area! Carl Schurz Park is at East End Avenue from East 84th Street up to Gracie Mansion at East 90th. The NYMS table will be inside the Park entrance at 86th St and East End Avenue.
Paul Sadowski and a few other volunteers will be on hand with two microscopes, a selection of polypores, slime molds and any spring fungi that pop up this week.
Date/Time: Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. There will be a short kick-off at 86th Street at 1:00 pm, including introductions of the Educational Partners.
