The New York Mycological Society will be participating as an Educational Partner in the Carl Schurz Park Conservancy’s Every Day is Earth Day event on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. Come say hi if you are in the area! Carl Schurz Park is at East End Avenue from East 84th Street up to Gracie Mansion at East 90th. The NYMS table will be near the Peter Pan Circle in the East side of the park at about 87th St.
Paul Sadowski and a few other volunteers will be on hand with microscopes, a selection of polypores, slime molds and any spring fungi that pop up this week.
