October 7, 2023Meet the NYMS members who will be cooking up some fabulous vegetarian creations for our opening reception on Sunday October 1:
Chi Bui, an award-winning chocolatier, has worked at some of NYC’s finest food institutions and under the tutelage of neurologist and chef Miguel Sanchez Romera. Chi will be unveiling exquisite new mushroom-infused chocolate bombs coated in crispy mycelial “bacon” bits. We can’t wait to try these!
Kate Ray is a Brooklyn-based chef cooking up fungi in unusual culinary ways. Kate will be reinventing two classic snacks – mushroom “bacon” wrapped dates and savory mushroom rugelach – join us at Myco Film Festival and see how gourmet the humble little mushroom can be.
