The Myco-consortium Lecture Series has announced a slate of excellent speakers for the coming weeks and months. Not all dates have been confirmed. Here is what is in store (subject to change):
March 13: Patty Kaishian, Curator of Mycology at the New York State Museum, Outcasts: Mary Banning’s World of Mushrooms, on the 19th century American mycologist.
March 27th: Don Pfister, Professor Emeritus of Mycology at Harvard, Fungaria and the MycoPortal: A Practical Guide.
June 5th: Aishwarya Veerabahu (Pringle Lab, University of Wisconsin): The Midas Mushroom: Ecological Impacts of Invasive Golden Oyster Mushrooms

Jonathan Gewirtzman, Yale School of the Environment on fungi in healthy wood, from the recent work on the living tree microbiome.
Alison Pouliot in conversation from Australia on mushroom ecology, habitat restoration and photography.
