We’re looking for members with a favorite fungus and a few good photos. Scroll through your iNat observations or camera files and pull out the ones that made you stop and stare. That’s your talk. Not sure of the ID? Bring it anyway — we’ll help.
**Pick your length:**
– **5 min** – a quick show and tell, one or two favorites
– **15 min** – a theme: a genus, a season, a “this changed how I see mushrooms” moment
– **30 min** – go deep into the natural history of it all
We’ll have an AV system, so your photos and slides display beautifully. You’ll be chatting with fellow enthusiasts and curious passersby — no judges, no pressure.
If you’re hesitating: the people who think they have nothing to share usually give the talks everyone remembers, because genuine fascination is more contagious than polish.
