About FUNDIS
FUNDIS (Fungal Diversity Survey) is North America’s only nonprofit dedicated solely to the
conservation of fungi. We engage community scientists and professional mycologists alike to
document, study, and protect these critical organisms—many of which are disappearing faster
than we can name them. Our work is fueled by science, community, and a growing movement to
bring fungi into the conservation spotlight.
We’re currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Treasurer to join our Board of Directors
and steward the financial wellbeing of the organization during an exciting period of growth and
impact.
Role Overview
The Treasurer is a key officer of the Board, responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of the
organization in alignment with our mission, legal obligations, and long-term strategic goals. This
role is essential to ensuring financial transparency, accountability, and the wise stewardship of our
resources as we scale our work in fungal conservation.
