NYMS is pleased to announce our inaugural event for Climate Week NYC on Tuesday 9/23 (5-7pm). Due to popular demand we are offering a second opportunity to enjoy this event on Sat. 10/4 (1-3pm) at the marvelous, historic Alice Austen House in Staten Island! Learn about fungi’s important role in our present and future ecosystem on a one-hour mushroom foray in Central Park, followed by a one-hour film “foray” – a cinematic excursion in inventive short films from the NYMS community — exploring a diversity of new voices and visions in the fungal realm.
