On July 27 the beloved Catskills For the Love of Fungi Mushroom & Arts Festival returns for the third time.
The morning will begin with group forays throughout the local region, guided by a knowledgeable mycologist. Early afternoon, everyone will all meet back at the Ashokan Center with specimens and stories, to embark on a full sensory exploration. Participants will discover new sounds, textures, flavors and more through different workshops and activities that focus on the many ways we use our senses to perceive the natural world. There will be an opportunity to brush up on ID skills, learn to tissue culture, illustrate, or listen to the song of favorite fungi! There will also be cooking demos and tastings all day long. After sunset all will gather for a bonfire, short film series, music, and UV nightwalk, with camping and lodging options onsite.

The festival is priced very affordably. A full day of activities is less than $45. Overnight camping is available for as little as $16 per person. Get your tickets here
