  • Annual picnic walk with COMA

    We are having our annual picnic and mushroom walk with the COMA (Connecticut/Westchester) club next Saturday, October 28.This year it will be at Mountain Lakes State Park, North Salem, Westchester, NY.  201 Hawley Rd., North Salem, NY.  Spruce Lake Pavilion, first left after park office. Cross bridge, turn right. Only heavy rain will cancel or postpone the event. The Spruce Lake Pavilion is covered. We have a mushroom walk first, our lunch around noon/12:30, followed by a mushroom id session.

    This is a location with fantastic views and some very nice woodlands as well as manicured gardens and fantastical grottoes and towers.
