Next Monday’s ID meeting will take place from 6.30 to 8.30 at Paul Sadowski’s apartment in Chelsea, Manhattan.
Attendees can of course arrive later and leave earlier.
Please bring any interesting specimens regardless of whether you have identified them or not, and check out what others have found.
In person ID meetings are a great way of developing your hands-on identification skills and dipping your toes into microscopy!
The address is 236 West 26th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenues), Manhattan. The buzzer is labelled Jordan Family 1101. Once in the lobby, go to the last of the the three elevators, the freight elevator, Paul will then send the elevator up.
Closest public transit are the 1 train (23rd & 28th Street stations), C and E trains (23rd Street Station) and M20 and M7 buses.
We encourage you to use iNaturalist – it’s a great way to keep track of your finds, and you will be able to participate in these two NYMS projects:
