Thanks to all who attended our fantastic Dia de los Muertos / Halloween Fungal Horror discussion of Mexican Gothic! In honor of Native American Heritage month, our November reading will spotlight indigenous mycology. We will read BRAIDING SWEETGRASS by Robin Wall Kimmerer, focusing on the chaga-centric chapter 30, Shkitagen: People of the Seventh Fire (though reading the book in its entirety is encouraged). Our in-person discussion will be on SATURDAY 11/18, 2-4pm.
