DESCRIPTION:Next Monday’s ID meeting will be online. Share anything you have found recently\, or share older observations for which you haven’t gotten a species ID. Show off mushrooms from your travels\, nearby or abroad. Share your ID triumphs and tribulations. Show your dots on sticks\, jellies\, spring gilled mushrooms\, and crusts. We will continue having intermittent in person ID sessions\, like last week’s\, throughout the spring. \nCome share what you’ve found\, see what others have found or to ask more general questions about anything fungi-related. \nAs always\, we encourage you to use iNaturalist to share your observations – it’s a great way to keep track of your finds\, and you will be able to participate in these two NYMS projects: \n\nFungi of New York City\nFungi Beyond New York City\nSlime Molds of New York City\n\nIf you’re not using iNaturalist\, try to have images on your computer that you can share. \nEither way\, it’s important to document your finds with clear pictures\, showing details of cap\, underside and stem\, and to note the habitat \nAll members are welcome to join – especially new members! We will try to make it as easy as possible for everyone and are eager to assist\, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
