DESCRIPTION:Next Monday’s ID meeting will be happening online. \nCome share what you’ve found\, see what others \nhave found or to ask more general questions about anything fungi-related.\nAs always\, we encourage you to use iNaturalist to share your observations – it’s a great way to keep track of your finds\, and you will be able to participate in these two NYMS projects: \n\nFungi of New York City\nFungi Beyond New York City\nSlime Molds of New York City\n\nIf you’re not using iNaturalist\, try to have images on your computer that you can share. \nEither way\, it’s important to document your finds with clear pictures\, showing details of cap\, underside and stem\, and to note the habitat \nAll members are welcome to join – especially new members! We will try to make it as easy as possible for everyone and are eager to assist\, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

SUMMARY:NYMS Book Sale and Auction\, Sunday April 6th
DESCRIPTION:The 2025 NYMS Book Sale and Auction will be held on Sunday April 6th at 2PM in TriBeCa. The sale will offer a wide selection of new and collectible books on a broad range of mushroom-related subjects. Several large collections of books were recently donated for the sale\, as well as some magazines\, posters\, prints\, photographs and art.  \nThe sale will comprise three sections. It will include a live auction of highly-valued and interesting books\, some of them quite rare. There will also be a silent auction for books of special interest to club members.  There will also be hundreds of VERY reasonably priced books and magazines which you can purchase in a ‘Buy it now’ capacity. \nView the live auction offerings\nView the silent auction offerings\nView ‘Buy it now’ books \nThe event is free to attend. Space is limited and an RSVP is required to attend the sale.
