DESCRIPTION:Next Monday’s ID meeting will be happening online. \nCome share what you’ve found\, see what others have found or to ask more general questions about anything fungi-related. \nAs always\, we encourage you to use iNaturalist to share your observations – it’s a great way to keep track of your finds\, and you will be able to participate in these two NYMS projects: \n\nFungi of New York City\nFungi Beyond New York City\nSlime Molds of New York City\n\nIf you’re not using iNaturalist\, try to have images on your computer that you can share. \nEither way\, it’s important to document your finds with clear pictures\, showing details of cap\, underside and stem\, and to note the habitat \nAll members are welcome to join – especially new members! We will try to make it as easy as possible for everyone and are eager to assist\, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walk in Seton Falls Park\, Bronx this Sunday\, November 17th! \nBring paper bags for collecting specimens\, a hand lens\, a knife\, a tackle box (optional)\, water and a lunch. It has been very dry for over a month\, so there will not be an abundance of mushrooms. We will concentrate on some of the marshy areas of the park that retain moisture during dry weather.  \nWe highly recommend using the iNaturalist app (IOS\, Android) to document the fungi you find.
