SUMMARY:Wolfe's Pond Park\, Prince's Bay
DESCRIPTION:Staten Island has not benefited as much from the recent rains\, getting a mere 0.6 inches. We nonetheless hope to find at least a few summer mycorrhizals\, including Russulas\, Amanita and perhaps a few Boletes. \nBring water and lunch. There will be mosquitoes and possibly ticks\, so make sure to protect yourself. \nOur lunch spot is next to a beach and members have been known to bring their swimsuits for a quick dip. \nIf you’ve never been on a mushroom walk with us before\, here is what to expect.
