SUMMARY:Mushroom Cultivation Demo: Making Spawn for Log Inoculation
DESCRIPTION:Learn the fundamentals of mushroom propagation in this demonstration lab session. We’ll review the essentials for: \n\nsterile lab technique\nDIY mycology equipment\ncloning mushrooms to create starter cultures\ncreating liquid culture spawn\nsawdust spawn development for inoculating logs to grow mushrooms outside\n\nIn-person participants will leave with a cloned mushroom sample and a liquid culture syringe of their chosen species. \nNo prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a love for fungi!
