SUMMARY:Gary's Backyard Mushroom Walk in Central Park\, Sunday\, November 8th
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walk in Central Park on Sunday November 8th. This walk honors Gary Lincoff\, who traversed Central Park countless times\, often with the club in tow\, spreading knowledge\, stories and laughter wherever he went. \nFind out more about Gary Lincoff here. And view his website at garylincoff.newyorkmyc.org \nBring paper bags\, a hand lens\, a knife\, a tackle box (optional)\, water and a lunch. The club is fairly all-weather\, but if the forecast takes a particularly nasty turn\, we will cancel this walk. Please monitor your email in case we do. \nWe highly recommend using the iNaturalist app (IOS\, Android) to document the fungi you find. Find out how to use it here. \nIf you’ve never been on a mushroom walk with us before\, here is what to expect. \nThis is not a foraging walk. Please\, no baskets or other collecting containers. \nThe event details are only viewable to active members who are logged into the website. To view details of the event\, please use the login form in the left sidebar.
