DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walk in Wolfe’s Pond Park\, Staten Island this Saturday\, April 4th. \nOn Saturday in Wolfe’s Pond\, we will be joined Emma Richter\, a specialist in basidiocrusts who will also be delivering a lecture on this fascinating topic Friday evening at Pier 57. \nBring paper bags for collecting specimens\, a hand lens\, a knife\, a tackle box (optional)\, water and a lunch. The club is fairly all-weather\, but if the forecast takes a particularly nasty turn\, we will cancel this walk or shift it to another day. Please monitor your email in case we do. \nWe highly recommend using the iNaturalist app (IOS\, Android) to document the fungi you find.
