DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, October 25th in Alley Pond Park\, Queens. This area seems to have had the most rainfall in recent weeks\, and it often has marshy areas and microclimates that host fungi if you are willing to look for them.   \nIn the event of a very bad weather forecast\, we may have to cancel this walk or shift it to another day. So please monitor your email before the walk in case we do. Bring paper bags for collecting specimens\, a hand lens\, a knife\, a tackle box (optional)\, water and a lunch. \nWe highly recommend using the iNaturalist app (IOS\, Android) to document the fungi you find.
