DESCRIPTION:Next Monday’s ID meeting will be happening online. \nThis time\, the focus will be on the polypores. Polypore expert Tom Bigelow will give brief introduction to the topic and then clear the stage for people to share their polypore observations – unidentified\, unusual\, tentatively identified – for discussion. So come prepared! \nAs always\, we encourage you to use iNaturalist to share your observations – it’s a great way to keep track of your finds\, and you will be able to participate in these two NYMS projects: \n\nFungi of New York City\nFungi Beyond New York City\nSlime Molds of New York City\n\nIf you’re not using iNaturalist\, try to have images on your computer that you can share. \nEither way\, it’s important to document your finds with clear pictures\, showing as many details as possible. \nAll members are welcome to join – especially new members!
