SUMMARY:Join us for dinner at Buddha Bodai on August 8 and wish Tom and Juniper farewell!
DESCRIPTION:The mushrooms are here\, and popping! Meanwhile\, before Tom and Juniper can accomplish their escape from New York to Maine at the end of August\, we are organizing a dinner at one of the club’s regular hangout place\, Buddha Bodai at 5 Mott Street\, on Thursday\, August 8th\, at 6pm.\n\n\nFor those who have never been there\, it is a Kosher Chinese Vegetarian restaurant\, with most dishes being vegan. But the meat lovers should not be scared as the restaurant’s meat substitute offerings are very very good (well\, most of them)\, and there are a lot of very good mushroom offerings. The cost per person should be somewhere around $30-33 including tips. The place does not serve alcohol\, but feel free to bring wine or beer if you want: since the place is certified kashrut\, they ask for the outside drinks to be kosher too. I will try to order a variety of dishes similar to the selections we tried in the past\, supply chain issues allowing\, of course\, and try a new dish or two. And please bring CASH as it is by far the easiest way to pay in the end.\n\n\nI made the reservations for for 24 people per event. Thus\, we are rather limited by space\, and if you are interested in attending\, please send me an e-mail at nymsactivities@gmail.com to reserve a spot for you. The first reservations get the spots\, so do not dawdle if you want to come! If later you discover that you cannot come\, please let me know if case there is anyone on the waiting list so we can fill your spot.\n\nPlease let me know if you have any questions\, and hope to see you soon\, August 8th at 6:00pm.  Just in case\, my cell is 206-369-0497.\n\n-Roman Kosoy
