DESCRIPTION:Thanks to all who attended our fantastic Dia de los Muertos / Halloween Fungal Horror discussion of Mexican Gothic! In honor of Native American Heritage month\, our November reading will spotlight indigenous mycology.  We will read BRAIDING SWEETGRASS by Robin Wall Kimmerer\, focusing on the chaga-centric chapter 30\, Shkitagen: People of the Seventh Fire (though reading the book in its entirety is encouraged). Our in-person discussion will be on SATURDAY 11/18\, 2-4pm. \nIf you cannot attend the discussion but still would like to read the book\, please order it here at the wonderful Black Walnut Books and support a local and indigenous-owned bookstore! \n  \nThe event details are only viewable to active members who are logged into the website.
