DESCRIPTION:Please join NYMS partners the Bronx River Foodway/Bronx River Alliance for their 3rd annual Community Banquet Saturday\, November 2nd from 12-4pm at Concrete Plant Park\, site of one of two New York City forageable forests.\n\nWhat started as a culminating event for the Edible Banquet workshop series has become a new tradition for the Bronx River Alliance with a goal of celebrating the Bronx River Foodway and ways of reconnecting communities‘ to land and food. \n\nThere will be foraged or locally grown food and drink tastings\, herbalism\, educational workshops\, art\, music and more! \n\nWe are still looking for one volunteer who can help out at the New York Mycological Society at our table at this event.
