Michael Kuo: MushroomExpert.Com
Dr. Kuo, the principal developer of MushroomExpert.Com, is an English teacher in Illinois and an amateur mycologist. He is the author of Morels (2005), and 100 Edible Mushrooms (2007), both published by the University of Michigan Press. He is currently writing 100 Cool Mushrooms, with Andrew Methven, for the University of Michigan Press.

Michael Wood: MycoWeb
MykoWeb is WWW pages devoted to the science of mycology (the study of the fungi) and the hobby of mushrooming (the pursuit of mushrooms). It is a production of Michael Wood, a past president of the Mycological Society of San Francisco. MykoWeb was started in the fall of 1995 and was one of the first internet mycology mushrooming sites.

NEMF - Northeast Mycological Federation
Federation of mushroom clubs in NE America

NEMF is the Northeast Mycological Federation Inc., informally conceived in 1976 at a foray attended by people from Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York. The First Annual Northeast Foray was held in 1977, with participants from the BMC, COMA, CVMS, LIMC, NJMA, NYMS, and the NMS. Later, NEMF was incorporated as a New York not-for-profit organization.

Its purposes: "To stimulate interest in mycology and to provide a forum where both amateur and professional mycologists can share their experiences and knowledge and work together cooperatively in studying the fungal flora of Northeastern America for scientific and educational purposes...."

Roger Phillips: Roger's Mushrooms
The site is based on Roger Phillips seminal work 'Mushrooms and other fungi of Great Britain and Europe' and the similar book published on the mushrooms and Fungi of North America. Roger's twenty-year study will make the site the most complete collection of photographs and mushroom information from both sides of the Atlantic ever assembled.
